The Data Services at The Tech Terminal

Step 1: Contact Us and Choose a Service Method

Call or email our shop with detailed information about the files you need recovered and the type of device needing service. Then, choose a service method:

  1. Customer Dropoff,
  2. Scheduled Pickup, or
  3. Same Day Pickup.

Step 2: Review Recovery Options


The shop will evaluate the device and review the best options for recovering your files. Providing a clear plan for the service. This step ensures we understand the process and potential outcomes before we proceed.

Step 3: Recovery Attempt


Our technician performs the recovery. If the device is too damaged and no data can be retrieved, only the diagnostic fee applies. For more in-depth recovery attempts, we can recommend external services.

Step 4: Pickup or Delivery


We will contact you once the recovery is complete to arrange for pickup or delivery based on the initial service method chosen.

  • Data Service Price Disclaimer: The prices above include ALL LABOR AND DIAGNOSTICS FEE. These prices DO NOT COVER the cost of any additional parts that may be required, such as new storage devices (SSDs or HDDs), operating system licenses, or other components.
  • Mobile Device Recovery Disclaimer: The final price for mobile device recovery services may vary depending on the service and difficulty. Certain challenges, such as device damage or locked phones, may adjust our ability and/or the final price.
  • NO DATA NO CHARGE. If a device is too damaged, or we are unable to recover any data from it for any reason, there is no additional charge beyond a diagnostic fee. If we believe a damaged device requires a more in-depth recovery attempt, we can recommend some external services that specialize in such cases.
