The Diagnostics Process at The Tech Terminal

Step 1: Initial Assessment

We'll start by thoroughly assessing your situation to understand the specific issues you’re facing. Some common problems include failure to turn on or boot up, blue screen errors that may require advanced diagnostics, unusual noises, expanding palm rests, charging issues, display failures, keyboard or trackpad malfunctions, a decline in gaming performance (especially for custom builds), overheating that leads to shutdowns, and new custom-built computers not turning on.

Step 2: Diagnostic

Once we have finished an initial look, we perform a thorough diagnostic using advanced software and hardware tools. If the computer powers on, we run extensive tests to pinpoint any issues. If the computer doesn't turn on, we'll perform manual inspections and tests to identify the hardware failures.

Step 3: Results

We analyze the diagnostic results to determine what needs to be repaired or replaced. If you wish to continue with us, we'll offer options, from simple fixes to complete overhauls, ensuring recommendations are tailored to your specific situation. In some cases, a deposit may be needed to order specific parts for repair. Customer will be informed and continuously updated on device status.

Step 4: Repair & Return

With all the necessary components ready, we begin the repair process. Our diagnostics process is designed to seamlessly integrate new parts, replace any faulty components, and restore your system to full functionality. Once the repair is complete, we perform a thorough inspection to ensure everything is working perfectly.

We’ll notify you as soon as your device is ready for pickup or for our return service. Before you take your computer home, we’ll address any questions you might have about the repair and offer advice to help you maintain your device in the future.
